A classically trained actor, Mr. Carroll studied at the actor’s conservatory at State University of New York College at Purchase and furthered his education in directing at Texas State University where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He has performed throughout the United States, playing roles from Shakespeare to Neil Simon and is founding artistic director of Weird City Theatre Company in Austin, Texas where he wrote and produced critically acclaimed adaptations of FW Murnau’s Nosferatu and George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead.
Mr. Carroll has trained (and continues to train) with some of the top coaches in the voice over industry. Rick Wasserman (The voice of AMC: The Walking Dead, Mad Men) of Bookable Voice Coaching in Los Angeles, Peter Rofé of PDR Voice Coaching in New York and Randy Thomas (voice of the Academy Awards, Tony Awards, Entertainment Tonight and The Super Bowl), Bob Michaels in Dallas, Texas and Liane Frasier of Voice Works in Austin, Texas as well as industry icon Michael Bell and Lorie Tritel through their online Master Class.

When not working, performing or training, Mr. Carroll loves to unwind watching animation, old school gothic horror and zombies movies, backpacking and hiking, and of course spending time with friends and family!
